
Vincent James Perrone‘s fiction has appeared in Wigleaf, Split Lip Magazine, Los Angeles Review, and Pithead Chapel, among others. He is the recipient of the 2025 Phyllis Grant Zellmer Prize, a finalist for the 2025 Tusculum Review Fiction Chapbook Prize, and selected for The Wigleaf Top 50 Very Short Fictions in 2024.
He is the author of the poetry collection Starving Romantic (11:11 Press, 2018), the chapbook Travelogue for the Dispossessed (Ghost City Press, 2020), and a contributor to the experimental anthology Collected Voices in the Expanded Field (11:11 Press, 2020).
Currently, Vincent is an MFA candidate at the University of Virginia, where he won the 2025 Balch Short Story Prize, the 2026 Henfield Prize, and serves as the fiction editor for Meridian.
